Opening gifts from the grandparents on his big day. He received money from Grandma and Grandpa Fredericks...
...and a football uniform from his Grandma and Grandpa Anderson.
Touchdown!!!!
The results from the spending money from mom and dad, grandma and grandpa and good friends.
Happy Birthday to You!
If Garrett would of had things his way he would of had a big party with friends along with a big party with his family, BUT mommy is about simplicity these days. Parties with friends are a lot of work and I just didn't want to put in the time and effort this year. Sounds pathetic but it's the truth. Instead of a big party with friends this year, we had a small party as a family. He was able to invite a couple of his friends to My Three Sons for games, pizza, and fun.
Here are the results:
Happy Birthday Garrett!
Facts about Garrett:
Garrett is in Preschool 3 days a week. He loves having Roan and Jacob in his class.
He loves his friends, and playdates.
He loves sports: baseball, football, basketball seem to be his favorites.
He still loves his superheros but has now expanded his wardrobe to other things besides batman and spiderman attire.
He loves to draw and do craft projects.
He loves to cook.
He is a nail biter. We have to hide the clippers since he thinks he needs to use them on a daily basis. This kid never has nails. Ever!
He has a terrible fear of being alone while I put Ty to sleep even if he is in the room next door.
He has a TERRIBLE fear of the wind. He feels like a terrible storm is approaching even with the slightest breeze due to a bad experience with the weather while we were camping. The wind keeps him from being involved with several things either as a family or at school. We hope he out grows this fear.
One thing is certain. Our family wouldn't be the same without Garrett. WE LOVE YOU!
