We had to air out our tent the next day. Rob made a trip to the laudry mat in the morning to dry our sleeping bags and to keep warm. (He was fighting a cold already and that night didn't help him aid in his recovery.) Despite a challenging night, we made the most of our trip and took with us some lasting memories of a very beautiful place.

Ricketts Glen State Park
Our family camping trip to Ricketts Glen State Park included hiking to see 22 named waterfalls (7.2 miles). Even our little Ty Guy made it through the hike. We also spent some time fishing and playing at the beach. The pictures show mounds of fun, but what you don't know is that our first night there was not a pleasant one. It rained HARD! It rained so much that our tent started leaking and everything got wet, including our sleeping bags. We were forced to sleep in the car.
