Rob here -

We need your opinion. Recently I have been teaching myself to draw using Inkscape (btw, this is a great, and free, graphics program you can find here).

I have been drawing some things and I made up this logo for us based on Pac-Man. I made everything you see. Steph is not so sure about calling us the Pac-mandersons, she thinks Pac-Andersons is better.

So, we need to break the tie. Send us your comments about what this should be. I know there are a lot of blog stalkers out there so its time to weigh in.

Anyway, if you like my artwork, you can see more of it here. I will try to keep it fresh with new posts at least once a week.

Normally We Don't Get Alot Of Snow...

So.......we had to improvise. (Maybe we should think about investing in some winter gear.)

The Results Are In...

Who was the biggest loser? Was it Reducing Rob or Sensational Steph. Well if you guessed Rob. Unfortunately you guessed wrong. He started at 185 lbs with an ending weight of 185 lbs (at least he maintained the same weight). He really didn't take this competition too seriously BUT he has another year to redeem himself since most of the Anderson Bunch is striving to be the Biggest Loser this year.

I guess since Rob is out. That makes Sensational Steph the BIGGEST LOSER!! (and the crowd goes wild) My starting weight was 120 lbs. My final weight was 107 lbs. I lost 13 lbs. (and the crowd goes wild again) Now for inches: My hips were at 38.5 inches and now they are at 35.5 inches. My waist was at 33 inches and now it's at 30.5 inches.

I still have a few more inches to loose but I will be focusing on losing my gut and toning this year. I'm not sure my gut will ever go away since a gut seems to be a permanent part of every Fredericks family member. I don't know about you but I do believe in miracles. Anything can happen right? Time will tell. In the meantime good luck to all the Biggest Loser contestants. See you all at the final weigh-in in July.

It Finally Happened.....

Tasha Lost her first tooth.

11-12 Months

At 11 months Ty was ONLY 17 lbs 20 oz. We are hoping to hear good new about a significant weight gain at his next well check visit in a couple of weeks. He is FINALLY taking a bottle. Over the Christmas break I recruited Rob to put him down for naps and bedtime with a bottle. He didn't get any other option. It was the bottle or nothing. Mommy finally won!!! He is now drinking about 2-3 bottles a day instead of just a few ounces (which was usually from mommy).

Now that I am done breastfeeding I no longer have a chest. (Frowny face) I will no longer be able to fill out a bathing suit this summer. Depressing! OK...on with other news...One more note about the bottle. He can actually hold the bottle but.........gets lazy and has me hold it for him.

At 11.5 months Ty decided he wanted nothing to do with baby food anymore. He is all about REAL food!!! He must be an Anderson since he is a bagel boy. (our kids don't eat sandwiches, just bagels) He is actually willing to try new foods. It's nice to have at least one child who is willing to try mommy's meals.

For Christmas Ty got his 2 front teeth. He worked on them most of December. While pushing two teeth through he got his first ear infection. He was pretty miserable (Not to mention everyone else except daddy who ended up sick for a couple of weeks).

During the last couple of weeks I have finally been able to get Ty to take 2 naps most days. It only took me a year. He is one determined kid, but I am also one determined mommy. Hopefully he realizes sleep is GOOD (at least I feel that way, maybe we could swap places. I would gladly take a nap in his place). Instead of 4 a.m. wake up calls he is now up at 5:00 a.m. It is still EARLY but better than 4:00.

Ty is standing up by himself for several seconds at a time. He continues to take a few steps while holding on to furniture.

He always shakes his head no as if he actually know what it means.

He says Wow, wow, wow, wow, etc. He makes the indian sound while patting his mouth with his hand.

He is a BINKI boy. He LOVES his binkis. He holds on to one for safe keeping just in case he looses one. We make sure he has a couple binkis in his bed for naps and bedtime. They are his security blanket. I think we need to start hiding them during the day. He finds them too easily and then its hard to take them away. It has also become too convient for mommy to use.

Ty is a Daddy's boy. He crys when he leaves. He's excited to see him when he comes home. When daddy's home he never likes to leave his side. Who could blame him. Daddy is pretty COOL!

What Fun!

Birthday Boy
